Are you easing yourself into 2024 or hitting the ground running?

Happy New Year! I hope you had a really good break. I've definitely benefited from disconnecting from social media, pressing pause and being in the moment. 💗

Are you finding that your social media feed is now jam-packed with New Years' Resolutions, Intention Setting, Word of the Year and hard-core health and wellbeing offers??? 🤯

You might be raring to go and forging a new path for yourself ... or maybe you're reflecting on the year just gone and taking things slowly this month. It's all about leaning into how you're feeling and finding your own way ... whichever you choose is a good one. 😀

If like me, your kids only went back on Monday then you're probably still stumbling across the odd Christmas dec and have just stopped reeling from the late nights and over consumption. 😲

We had a good family Christmas but I can't honestly say I experienced everything as I had hoped with the curveball of the broken boiler and washing machine. But with lovely moments and memories we're back to some sense of order now.

And so this January, I'm all about taking exquisite care of myself and nourishing and nurturing my mind, body and soul. Fresh air and walks with my gorgeous pooch, a new journal, recipes to light me up inside and rejoining my health club are all priorities to me alongside setting some intentions for the year. 🤗

What are you doing for yourself? 🤔

Regardless of how I approach January, I love to reflect on the last year with a cuppa reviewing the highlights, lowlights and learnings. If you've not paused yet but are cantering ahead at a rate of knots, I encourage you just to stay with this for a while and ask yourself:

1. Across priority areas in your life (career, personal, family & friends, finance):

· What went well?

· What didn’t go as well as you would have liked?

· What have you learnt?

2. What areas of your life made you happiest?

This is a great way to re-live some of your highlights. Who were you with? What were you doing e.g. does it relate to your personal or work life? What was it in particular that made it so fulfilling?

3. What was your biggest challenge and how did you overcome it?

This question encourages you to flex your muscle and build your ‘bounce-back-ability’ or resilience. So what did you do exactly to address it and how might you use these skills going forward?

4. Where did you spend most of your energy and time?

We all have the same 24 hours in a day and mastering this precious commodity is about being purposeful with your time! Be honest with yourself and acknowledge to what extent this meets your priorities and values (those things that you hold dear to you).

5. Do your goals still make your heart sing?

If you've got goals, do they still excite and energise you? They aren’t set in stone and should be reviewed, fine-tuned and even thrown out. Listen to your head and heart. 💗

6. How did you express your own needs to others?

How would you say you voiced your needs (not others!) to family, friends and colleagues? What did you need to convey and what did you in reality? What would you perhaps do differently next time?

7. What relationships did you forge, enhance or simply maintain?

We all long to be part of a community and feel a sense of belonging. Reflect on how connected you have felt this past year and in which interactions you have vested your energy. Spend a moment to think about what new relationships you might like to build and where you may benefit from enhancing others.

As we step into Spring, I'll be running my life-changing vision board workshop to empower you to craft a compelling future and to powerfully activate the law of manifestation. In the meantime, I'm here if you want help to get moving (at your own pace).
