Helping busy, stuck mums to make a meaningful job move and finally feel fulfilled

Having my son in my 30's was the catalyst to me redressing my life work balance. I have since founded Oriel Coaching choosing a new career path which compliments my WHY and changing values.

I help parents who are juggling family and work to achieve their own sense of balance and to get more out of life! I challenge, support and empower them through powerful conversations, tools and techniques to feel happy and healthy in all that they do in their work and personal lives. I also love engaging with employers supporting wellbeing in the workplace.

I set up Oriel Coaching after the birth of my son. Until this point, my career had been all consuming but returning to work and leaving him became a real wrench. It was at this point in my life that I challenged myself to look at my WHY, my new values and to consider my personality and where I get my energy from. The reason I do what I do is that I’m absolutely passionate about empowering others to enjoy holistic health and happiness. I relate to the challenges of working parents spinning lots of plates whilst trying to hold onto their own identity and interests. Life work balance and self-care are both topics close to my heart! My business is so precious to me and I can honestly say it is so fulfilling working with such unique and inspiring clients.

I bring a sense of calm, warmth and positive energy to my work. I have 20 years experience of strategy, performance, research and organisational development from the public and private sector where I was privileged to help others to achieve their potential. I have a Master’s Degree and a Coaching in Personal Performance Diploma (Distinction), Corporate Executive Coaching Diploma (Distinction) and DISC Personality Profiling Accreditation with The Coaching Academy, Europe’s leading accredited coach training organisation.

As an aside, Oriel means a bay window which of course allows you to see a wider perspective. In Welsh it means gallery. The name is a perfect fit - coaching invites you to consider different perspectives, to reflect and to see the bigger picture!

I live in Cheshire with my hubby and am blessed with two wonderful children and our gorgeous mini golden doodle puppy, Nala.
